Easter Program
"I use my children's book, "Colored Eggs For Jesse," and a set of 18 plastic eggs filled with items that help to tell the real Easter story about Jesus to children and adults. I also use props and Bible trivia to make the story come to life and to make the audiance think. This isn't just a program for children and it is not just for Easter. Jesus told us to go into the world and tell everyone his message. The Easter message is for everyday." This is the gospel message.
"A few years ago, I had taken my program on a trip to Colorado, but doors never opened for me to share it with anyone. However, on my return flight home a young man in the seat next to me saw my eggs and asked why I had Easter eggs in August. I explained and he asked to hear my story. The young man was not a Christian and when I asked if I was boring him, he replied, "Oh no, what is in the next egg!"
"When finished I explained the salvation message and gave him my business card. I told him to think about all that I had said and when he decided to follow Jesus Christ to call me. I would come and speak at his church!"
"I am still praying for Mick the "former Muslim".
"We are all called to plant seeds for Christ. The Holy Spirit will take it from there. When I get to heaven I will be looking for Mike."
